Maia Harari Dance Theatre is a newly formed, Los Angeles-based dance ensemble led by artistic director, Maia Harari. MHDT is focused on the production of short films, multi-media stage productions, choreography for music videos, and stealth performance installations for parties and events.

Their work has been received with critical acclaim (Fox 11 News, LA Weekly, Daily Candy pick, etc.) at established venues including Electric Lodge, Dance Camera West, Bootleg Theatre, Anatomy Riot, LA Shorts Fest, and the American Cinematheque.

MHDT takes its inspiration from a range of sources including the history of California and Hollywood, the paparazzi-fueled obsession with celebrity, and emerging modes of digital and virtual communication.
